One Day Bread Making Workshop
9:00am - 1:00 pm and 4:30 - 7:00pm

Join Pascale for a one day, hands-on, bread-making workshop. Each participant will learn how to use starters to make Tartine Bakery style loaves. Participants will learn how to make a classic light sourdough boule and 2 other filled loaves. The class is divided into two parts. In the morning students will learn how to feed a starter, make the dough, shape the dough and basic bread making techniques. A series of instructional videos are also shown during the morning session. In the afternoon session, students will learn to score and bake the bread. This will be followed by a bread tasting with cheese and salads.

Homemade Starter to make your own bread
Freshly Baked Bread from the Class

This is a hands-on class and we provide everything you need. Please arrive on time in comfortable attire and closed-toed shoes.
Please note that we do not offer refunds but honor a 48-hour cancellation policy in order to reschedule your reservation. If Pascale's Kitchen re-schedules or cancels a class you will receive a credit for a future class, or the amount can be used towards products from our store.

 

COVID -19

For your safety, all attendees must provide proof of a negative Covid test (a rapid test is fine) taken just prior to class. We are monitoring county cases, and if necessary, all students will be required to wear masks through the duration of class except when actively eating or drinking. Students will be asked to wash their hands at the beginning and throughout class.  If in person classes are cancelled due to government regulations relating to COVID-19, you will receive a credit in your account for the amount you paid that will be valid for any in person or virtual class.

The class lasts approximately 5 hrs (9:30 - 2:30pm) and includes a tour of the farmer's market, the cooking class and lunch. Please arrive on time in comfortable attire and close-toed shoes.
